Unboxing -

You get a phone upfront, a well designed case, stickers, red cable club card, documents, Type C cable, 30W Warp charge 30T plus adapter & sm card tool.
This phone is thinner, smaller & light weight.It has a minimalist design with blue & purple tint. It's a nice design overall.

Weight -

This is not a glass back phone & that's why it's lighter. It's made of composite material. This is light & thin at 7.9mm & the frame is also made of metal. This weighs around 172-173 grams & it feels very light. This makes the in hand feel much better as its light weight & one hand operation will be much easier on this phone.
We get a case with the phone,it is a very nice quality case when it goes for drop Test - Front & Back side drop - It easily survives as the case is built well. The design of the case just adds the beauty of the back case.

Ports & Buttons -

On the bottom side you have a 3.5 mm jack, microphone, Type C port, speaker grill.
On Right hand side you have the power button.
On top you get a noise cancelling microphone.
On Left hand side - Sim card tray(dual nano sim card tray) & volume rocker button.

Display -

It's a beautiful bright display. It's a 6.43’’ AMOLED screen with 90 Hz refresh rate. Screen to body ratio is quite good as side & top bezels are thin and bottom bezel is also smaller than average & that is why this phone feels compact.

  • It has 3 variants - 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB & 12GB/256GB.
  • Storage type is UFS 2.1.
  • RAM is LPDDR 4X.
  • Prices - 6GB/128GB = 22,999 Rs, 8GB/128GB = 24,999 Rs, 12GB/256GB = 27,999 Rs.
  • OS - it's one of the core experiences of OnePlus phones & this one has it. It runs on OxygenOS 11 based on Android 11 And Oneplus claims that it’ll get 2 years of OS updates & 3 years of security updates so that's good.
  • You get features like Zen Mode so you get the core experience of oxygen OS. It has Always On Display too.

Battery -

battery is 4500 mAh (OnePlus Nord has 4115 mAh battery)And with OxygenOS, you can easily expect one day’s battery life with moderate usage. You get a 30W charger that can charge 0-70% in 30 mins & that's quite good.

Sensors -

It gets all the sensors with in display fingerprint sensor that works fast, face unlock is also fast & reliable.

Camera -

It has a triple camera setup : 64MP is the primary camera (Nord has 48MP). Looking at the photo sample, It has good colors & takes some detailed photos. There’s an 8MP ultrawide lens with 119 degree FOV + 2MP Mono lens. On front you have a 16MP Sony IMX471 sensor. photos have good dynamic range. Ultrawide camera has softer image output but the overall camera is quite good.
There's no OIS on this phone but it can shoot 480 fps slow mo videos, night mode is there that works well. You can record upto 4K 30 fps videos on this phone.

Performance -

You can play games with very high settings & 90 Hz make the gaming experience much better. The combination of fluid AMOLED & fast refresh rate with OxygenOS makes the overall experience smoother.

Connectivity -

It has one 5G band, dual 4G voLTE, Wi-Fi calling, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, dual band Wi-Fi & it does support carrier aggregation.

Additional Features -

Cam2Api support, Widevine L1, it does not have notification light & FM radio and it is not dust & water resistant.
overall, It should've got an alert slider & glass back as these two things are core to OnePlus which is missing on this phone. But display & performance are stand out features and give you the core OnePlus experience.
